As you may knew, Interspire Email Marketer is web based email marketing and auto-responder software. By using our WordPress plugin, you will have a great tool for building your mailing list while building your WordPress community!

Features

• Geo targeting: Plugin allow targeting users by country. It automatically detect the country a user hails from and country name will be added into IEM ‘Country’ custom filed (custom field must be enabled in IEM admin, see ‘Installation’ section).
• Choose IEM lists that users will added to.

Installation

To install in regular WordPress:

1. Upload the ‘wp-iem.php’ and ‘wp-iem’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/plugins/’ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
3. Go to ‘Site Admin > IEM’ and configure plugin settings.

To install in WordPress MU:

1. Upload ‘wp-iem.php’ and ‘wp-iem’ folder to the ‘/wp-content/mu-plugins’ directory
2. Go to ‘Site Admin > IEM’ and configure plugin settings.

To work properly you have to enable custom filed ‘Country’ through the ‘Contact Lists > Edit Contact List‘ menu.

Once the plugin is installed, actived and configured properly, the users of your blog will be added to the IEM contact lists automatically after they register at your WordPress blog.

System requirements

In the order to use WordPress plugin, you must have the IEM software is installed, Net_GeoIP PEAR package and WordPress/WordPress MU version 2.7 or higher.
